STEP 1 — Make the mixture
Add ½ teaspoon baking soda to a small bowl. Add a small amount of water and mix into a thin paste.
STEP 2 — Add toothpaste
Put a small amount of fluoride toothpaste on your toothbrush.
STEP 3 — Gentle brushing
Use the toothbrush with the baking-soda mixture and brush very gently for about 30 seconds. Don’t scrub hard.
STEP 4 — Brush normally
Continue brushing with your fluoride toothpaste until you have brushed for 2 minutes total.
STEP 5 — Rinse
Rinse your mouth thoroughly with clean water.
STEP 6 — Reveal
Show the teeth looking cleaner and brighter, rather than unnaturally white.
