1. Make the paste
Mix 1 tablespoon toothpaste + 1 tablespoon baking soda + 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice until you have a smooth paste.
2. Apply
Apply a thin layer over the dry, cracked areas of your heel.
3. Leave briefly
Let it sit for 5–10 minutes. If it starts burning or stinging, rinse it off immediately.
4. Rinse
Wash your heel thoroughly with warm water and pat it dry.
5. Gently scrub
Use a pumice stone to gently remove softened dead skin. Don’t scrub hard or over open/deep cracks.
6. Moisturize
Apply a generous layer of Vaseline to the heel to help lock in moisture.
Tip: Avoid this mixture on bleeding, open, or very painful cracks. Lemon and baking soda can irritate damaged skin.
