articleUseronAugust 13, 2026
Step 1: Shake or brush off any loose dirt from the socks before soaking.

Step 2: Fill a basin or bucket with enough warm water to completely cover the socks.

Step 3: Add 2 tablespoons baking soda to the warm water and stir until dissolved.

Step 4: Add 1 tablespoon dish soap and mix gently.

Step 5: Add 2 tablespoons hydrogen peroxide and stir again to combine everything.

Step 6: Place the dirty white socks into the mixture. Push them down so they are fully submerged.

Step 7: Let the socks soak for 1–2 hours. If they are very dirty or heavily stained, soak them overnight.
