This makes them an ideal option for anyone looking to lose weight, but I’m also happy to share their overall health benefits.

However, not everyone enjoys cucumbers, and I’ve found that by adding them to smoothies, I’ve finally come to really enjoy eating them.
Here are the benefits of cucumber for weight loss, as well as for your overall health, and how to make it an excellent ingredient for your smoothies.
The Health and Weight Benefits of Cucumber
Cucumbers have an incredible nutritional density.
1. Incredible Nutritional Density
Nutritional density refers to the amount of nutrients provided by each calorie in a food. If a food is high in calories but low in nutrients (like potato chips), its nutritional density is low. Conversely, cucumbers are low in calories but very rich in nutrients.
This is great for two reasons:
You can eat enough cucumbers to feel full while maintaining a calorie deficit for weight loss.
All the extra vitamins and minerals in cucumbers will nourish your cells, allowing you to better control your hunger and reduce the risk of overeating high-calorie foods.

Apple, mango, and cucumber for weight loss: Apple juice

Drinks that seem perfectly healthy, like apple juice and other fruit drinks, provide essential nutrients you need in your diet.
