Simple Ginger, Clove, and Honey Tea Recipe

One of the easiest ways to enjoy this traditional combination is as a warm herbal tea.

Ingredients

  • 1 piece fresh ginger (about 1 inch / 2–3 cm), sliced
  • 3–4 whole cloves
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • Fresh lemon (optional)

Directions

  1. Bring the water to a gentle boil.
  2. Add the ginger and cloves.
  3. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Strain into a cup.
  5. Stir in honey after the tea cools slightly.
  6. Add lemon if desired.

Enjoy warm.
