3. Hydrogen peroxide for stains
Mix 1 part hydrogen peroxide 3% with 2 parts water. Apply a small amount to the stain using a clean cloth. Gently blot the area instead of rubbing, so the stain does not spread. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes, then blot again with a dry cloth. Always test on a small hidden area first, because hydrogen peroxide can lighten some fabrics.
Extra cleaning steps
After treating the mattress, leave it uncovered until it is fully dry. Vacuum it again if you used baking soda. Turn or rotate the mattress regularly to keep it fresh and even.
